With a very active schedule
of nearly twenty performances yearly, the Band offers something for all musical
tastes. Musical selections vary from lighter fare served with the Summer
Park Series and specialty concerts to more serious concert works performed
during the Winter season. To support this wide range of musical style, the band
and its affiliate organizations enjoys a membership of over 120 area musicians
from more than ten communities in Central and South Arkansas. Musicians
may participate in a variety of musical groups under the auspices of the main
organization.
Current members range from teenagers to octogenarians. Approximately half
of the band's membership are residents of Hot Springs Village, and a significant
percentage of the band's audience are Villagers at each concert.
