updated 10/30/09 The Village Quilt Guild is an organization whose purpose is to develop an appreciation for the art of quilting and its history, to provide a common organization of persons who love quilts, and to educate the public on the history and artistry of quilt making. The Guild meets each month on the 2nd Thursday of each month, beginning at 9:30 am. At the Faith Lutheran Church, 1196 DeSoto Blvd. We average 200 members each year. Membership is open to any individual residing in the Hot Springs Village area. Guests are welcome to attend two meetings before joining. Dues are $25. per year payable on January of each fiscal year. Dues are pro-rated when joining mid year. Each month there is a business meeting and program. Show-and-tell follows during which time members show their quilted projects. Well-known quilters, guild members, owners of quilt shops in the area, or members of other quilt guilds present topics of interest at the guild meeting.
